Having Kids Get Their Haircut with Robots and Dolls Salon

Hello hello mommies! Have you experienced getting your child’s hair cut in a salon? Was it ever easy? Are they quiet? Frisky? Well, every child is different, but most of the time, they are not comfortable while getting their hair cut. They will be needing a lot of distractions just to get them to sit still. Good thing, there are kids salons like Robots and Dolls.

Since I won’t let Toby have his haircut yet until he’s 1 year old, I brought my nephews and niece to the Robinsons Las Piñas branch of Robots and Dolls Salon and let them experience their services. Drake at Bench will be having “RoboCut”. This is what they call their haircut for boys. While they call it “DollyCut” for girls. Meanwhile, Danica will be getting her “PediCute“, pedicure for kids.

When you enter the salon, kids got easily attracted to their colorful interiors. Toys displayed are also a bonus factor because the kids got interested in playing them.

We were welcomed by the staff of the salon with all smiles. They asked us what services we would like the kids to avail and we were immediately accommodated.

Drake went first. He was asked to choose between iPad or the toys on the rack (Wow, high-tech na talaga mga bata ngayon, magpapagupit lang, pwede pa mag-iPad). Since Drake’s father is very hands-on, he gave instructions on how he wants Drake’s hair cut. The haircutter seemed to know immediately what he’s being asked, and began as soon as the instructions are given.

Same with Bench, he was also given iPad before his service started. We were having trouble with Bench’s hair ever since. The back part of his hair always stands whenever he gets his hair cut, which is annoying because no one could get the right haircut for him to avoid this from happening. But wait, we’ve found one who can… Robots and Dolls!

Since the kids have an iPad they’re playing with, they’re quiet and sitting still while they were having their hair cut. Therefore, the service was finished fast. No hassle for the haircutter! Less stress also to the kids’ parents!

While the boys get their “RoboCut”, our little darling, Danica, is having her PediCute. She said she’s already “dalaga” that’s why she can have her pedicure. She was asked to sit comfortably on the salon’s cute couch. Her mother was asked if they will put nail polish on her or simply clean her nails. Since she’s “dalaga” already, of course, she wanted to have nail polish! She was asked to choose among the available colors and she looked for something similar with her mom’s nail polish.

The kids enjoyed the services they got. They got pampered and their parents got time to rest from their “kakulitan“. Haha.

Here are their prices as of this writing:

Price-wise, I think their prices are quite high compared to other kids salons. But talking about their service, I think it’s worth it. The kids really enjoyed their stay in the salon. They have a wide range of toys. And their staff really knows how to handle kids.

  1. Yes, kids deserve to be pampered also, and their nails should be maintained as well.
