3D2N in Puerto Galera with only Php 4000 Budget

My friends and I decided to spend one of our long weekend at Puerto Galera since it is one of the cheapest destination that does not require airplane involvement. Puerto Galera is located in Oriental, Mindoro. It is also known as the “Poor man’s Boracay”. Since Puerto Galera is famous for it’s nightlife, you have to try out their very own Mindoro sling, an alcoholic drink that is served with apples.
HOW WE GET THERE:

Frank and I are from Alabang, so the best and nearest terminal from us is the South Station. Buses from there leaves every 20mins. Travel from Alabang South Station to Batangas Pier is approximately 1 hr and 30mins. Smooth travel because the buses pass thru slex and actex.
From Batangas Pier, you can buy your tickets at the Terminal Bldg. 3. It depends on which line you would choose, Minolo or Father and Sons lines. The ticket costs Php500 per person plus Php30 terminal fee. Ferry travel would be 1 to 2 hrs. Another Php50 will be collected once you arrived the White Beach.
WHERE WE STAYED:

We’ve stayed at the Bangera Inn, where we’ve only paid Php4,500 for 8 pax. So, it’s only Php562.50 per person for two nights already. It’s a meditteranean-inspired inn. It’s cute and comfy for a budget inn. The staff are so friendly and could give your requests at a fast pace. I think the service is more than what you paid for. 😉

WHAT WE’VE DONE:
There are numerous activities you can try in Puerto Galera. For us, we’ve tried the Crazy UFO, Banana Boat, Island hopping and the famous Puerto Galera’s nightlife.
The Crazy UFO is a very fun water activity. The “UFO” crazily bounces off the water so that the passengers will crazily fly off as well, not unless your grip on the handles are crazily tight.. haha. So sad Seph could not join us in this activity because he was too sleepy. 🙁

I’ve rode the banana boat before, but this is one of the most memorable one. We’ve tried this activity on a windy afternoon, so the wave is already going crazy. The speed boat driver didn’t meant to fell us off, but we did because of the waves.. on I think 200-300m away from the shore! Anyway, it was a challenge for us and the boatman to climb us back up.. with waves all over us.

As for the island hopping, we’ve seen the underground cave, the giant clams, and we’ve also tried fish feeding and snorkeling.

And lastly, Puerto Galera’s nightlife. I think most of the performers on all bars there are gays. What I like about those performed at the bar where we stayed is that they are so good and entertaining! Bigay na bigay talaga sila sa pagperform.

HOW MUCH DID WE SPENT:
(NOTE: Prices are per person.)

Puerto Galera might not be one of the beautiful beaches I’ve been to, but definitely I enjoyed staying there. 😉
