One of the main items we need to buy for #BabyLion is a stroller. Frank and I are fond of traveling, going to the mall, etc. And I think a stroller is essential in our lifestyle.
During my 7th month, we canvassed different brands of strollers to determine how much budget we should allot for it. Little did we know that strollers nowadays are very expensive. A decent stroller for 0 months to 3 years old costs from Php4,000 and the most expensive we’ve seen is worth 40k pesos!
Being practical, Frank and I opt to choose an affordable but quality one. So we looked into the wide range of stroller models from Apruva and Baby 1st. These brands offer very affordable strollers but the quality is not compromised.
It is important to set a budget for a certain item you need to buy in order to not overspend in the future. Given the items we saw from the brands I’ve mentioned, we have set our budget to Php5,000 to Php8,000.
On my 8th month of pregnancy, we then decided to buy the stroller for our baby. We are too fortunate because this month of October, Baby Company launches its #SwapToShare campaign. It is a promo where you can swap your old but useable strollers in exchange of receiving a 20% discount on selected strollers worth Php 4,000 and up. All old strollers that will be swapped will be donated to babies in need in cooperation with SM Foundation.
Good thing Frank’s cousin wanted to dispose of one of her old strollers and she said we could use it for the swapping. So aside from choosing one of the affordable strollers, we got an additional 20% discount (which we could save and keep for our baby’s future needs) PLUS we also got the chance to help other babies in need.
