It was a rainy afternoon of July 21, 2018, pouring hard on the outside and even in the inside of Uptown Mall, BGC. Want to know why?
Because Mommy Mundo, together with Baby Dove PH, showered expecting moms and dads with lots and lots of giveaways and learnings. Mommy Mundo’s Pregnant Pause 20 is a prenatal preparation seminar for soon-to-be parents. The goal is to prepare expecting moms and dads for a healthy and smooth pregnancy. Ms. Rome Kanapi, one of the pioneers in childbirth education in the Philippines and regularly holds childbirth classes, conducted the training. She talked about techniques, tips, tricks, exercises, massages for pregnant women, and what are the roles of the father.
The event was full-packed, additional chairs were even requested to accommodate more attendees, including us because we were late that afternoon. We were seated at the far end of the venue, which made it hard for us to see and hear the speaker. Even so, we still learned a lot.
After Ms. Rome Kanapi’s talk, Baby Dove PH surprised us with a short baby shower. They invited moms to share some of their experiences not to scare the soon-to-be parents (haha), but to make us aware of what’s in store for us once our bundle of joy comes out. After the short talk, Baby Dove also prepared some fun games, which Frank was able to join.
Remember when I said we were seated at the end of the venue? Maybe it was not as awful as it sounds like, because Frank was the first one asked by one of Mommy Mundo’s staff if he wants to join the games. So anyway, Frank won so many prizes from that game, which made me sooo happy because I love one of the brands of the prizes they’ve given (these were also shown in the video below).
After those exciting games, there were raffle draws and I was lucky enough to be called! Yay!
Baby Dove PH was generous enough to give a gift pack to every attendee that contains a stuffed toy, milestone cards and one of their products, Baby Dove PH Hair to Toe Wash. No one left the place empty-handed.
I’m sure everyone enjoyed the event, I know I did. Kudos to Mommy Mundo and Baby Dove PH for a job well done hosting this event. I hope there will be more of this in the future.
